Perri Neri is known for her abstract figurative paintings and drawings, birthing shape, texture, and color while addressing questions of sexuality, identity, and memory. In 2007, Perri earned a MFA in painting from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Since that time she has had two solo exhibitions at Ceres Gallery in New York City, and has been included in several gallery group exhibitions including A.I.R. Gallery in Brooklyn, Caelum Gallery in NYC, Gallery at 14 Maple in Morristown, and Scarfone-Hartley Gallery in Tampa. Perri has served on the Arts Commission in Highland Park, NJ and is currently an Executive Board Member at The Painting Center in New York City. Her work has been featured in two volumes of Studio Visit Magazine and in a 2015 article, Women in Contemporary Art, Where are They Now?, in Honeysuckle Magazine.
Perri will have a solo exhibition at The Morean Arts Center in St. Petersburg, FL, January 11 - February 28, 2020. She has a two-person exhibition at The Painting Center in NYC, May 19 - June 13, 2020; and a solo exhibition in April 2021.
Perri is represented by The Painting Center in NYC, and has studios in New York City and Tampa.
